During the course of the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion, it will be necessary for Commissioner Bell to make rulings and directions relevant to the work of the Commission. This page will be added, over time, with relevant rulings and directions.
Public interest immunity
Public interest immunity (PII) may apply to certain material sought by the Royal Commission, for example, material that would reveal deliberations of Cabinet. The Commission has the power to make a ruling on the applicability of PII and whether that material should be disclosed to the Royal Commission.
