The Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion will conduct hearings to collect evidence relevant to its inquiry.

Legal financial assistance is available to individuals and entities to assist with meeting the costs of legal representation and disbursements associated with engaging with the Royal Commission, including as a witness at a hearing.

The Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion will hold its second public hearing block in Sydney starting Monday 25 May 2026.

The Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion will hold its first public hearing block in Sydney between Monday 4 May 2026 and Friday 15 May 2026. Hearings will commence at 10am.

The Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion held its first public hearing at 10:30 am on Tuesday 24 February 2026 (AEDT).

At the opening hearing, Commissioner Virginia Bell AC SC made a short opening statement explaining how she will approach the terms of reference for the inquiry.

Senior Counsel Assisting Richard Lancaster SC also made a short opening statement.
