Amended Victorian Letters Patent

On 1 October 2026, the Governor of the state of Victoria issued amended Letters Patent under the Inquiries Act 2014 (VIC) which support the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion.


CHARLES THE THIRD, BY THE GRACE OF GOD KING OF AUSTRALIA AND HIS OTHER REALMS AND TERRITORIES, HEAD OF THE COMMONWEALTH:

I, Professor James Angus AO, Lieutenant-Governor of the State of Victoria, as the Governor's Deputy, with the advice of the Premier, under section 5 of the Inquiries Act 2014 (Vic), section 41A of the Interpretation of Legislation Act 1984 (Vic) and all other enabling powers, amend the Letters Patent entered into the Register of Patents Book No. 48 Page No. 182 on 17 February 2026 establishing the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion by:

  1. In clause (n), for the words '14 December 2026' substituting —
    1. '18 December 2026'.

These amending Letters Patent are issued under the Public Seal of the State.

WITNESS Professor James Angus, Officer of the Order of Australia, Lieutenant-Governor of the State of Victoria, as the Governor's Deputy, in the Commonwealth of Australia at Melbourne this 1st day of October two thousand and twenty-six.
